About
Pike Mountaineering and Trekking is a small family owned company based in Kathmandu, running guided expeditions throughout Nepal. Our ventures include day walks, multi-day treks, high pass crossings and climbing some of the major Himalayan peaks. We design our trips to suit our customers. With an extensive network of contacts throughout the country, we can readily organise transport, accommodation, porters and guides.
We are a family-based company. Our chief guide, Ngima Sherpa, has several members of his family working as assistant guides. We are dedicated to making trips as successful as possible for our clients, so we pay a lot of attention to tailoring the trip to suit the fitness of the party, the walking distance and climb each day, and making sure that the party is properly equipped. We are also strict about the safety of the party and hygiene in food preparation.
Our aim is a safe, memorable and enjoyable trip for all our customers and we have had much positive feedback from satisfied clients. Ngima Sherpa is a member of the Nepal Mountaineering Association.
